Erin McKibbin Petersen Memorial Shot Clinic,
12/6/2006

R.E.D.'s 3rd Erin McKibbin Petersen Memorial Vaccine Clinic, will be helpd in the spring of 2006 if donations are made to pay for vaccines.

The last clinic was held on October 22nd, 2005 in Shelton, Washington and helped 101 animals to be safe against illness

R.E.D. holds this annual event to honor a woman that gave selflessly to the animals and people of her area for most of her life. Her name was Erin McKibbin Petersen and she left us all to soon after a battle with Lupus on June 20, 2004. She passed away quietly while sleeping in her favorite chair with her puppy “Suzie Q” on her lap. Her husband Dan stayed lovingly by her side.

Erin touched many lives while she was with us here on earth. She did not know the word,"No," if there was animal in need and gave selflessly to all that crossed her life's path. Together, we shall continue Erin's passion and love for the animals alive by helping the community and the animals in need. This event was held to help reduce the suffering and loss of life from diseases like parvo and distemper. Many individuals can not afford to vaccinated their pets and this puts all companion animals at risk.

To Erin,
Our angel sister in rescue, thank you, for the life you led and the legacy of love you left with us. Your life and love shall live on within those that loved you and those that shared your passion. Our hands and hearts shall make your dreams for the animals continue. Until, we meet again my friend, we love you and miss you...........
